Amos earned his Bachelor of Arts Honours in Law from Carleton University and his Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Law.  During law school, Amos was a semi-finalist at the Nelligan O’Brien Payne Moot Court Competition, a competition focused on effective, proficient litigation.  At Carleton University, Amos was awarded a Senate Medal for Outstanding Academic Achievement.

Throughout his career, Amos has focused on helping communities succeed at all levels.  With his prior experience practising civil litigation, family law, personal injury law, and insurance litigation, Amos focuses on guiding new clients down the unfamiliar, difficult, and lengthy path of employment law and civil litigation, on de-escalating hostilities, and on introducing practical, realistic solutions to clients in both English and Cantonese Chinese.

In his spare time, Amos weight trains in the gym, plays piano, and reads philosophy, string theory, and quantum physics.  He is a member of the Canadian Chopin Society and a member of Stanford University’s foresight intelligence network, the Millennium Alliance for Humanity and the Biosphere.
